The Miller Group Adds Executive Talent Forms Senior Executive Committee

Scottsdale, Arizona (May 11, 2009) - The Miller Group, comprised of affiliated companies Miller Capital Corporation, a venture capital, private equity, management consulting and financial advisory firm; Miller Capital Markets, LLC, a FINRA member investment banking firm; Miller Investments, Inc., and Miller Management Corporation, announced today Scott L. Perkins has joined The Miller Group as Vice President Finance for Miller Capital Markets and Miller Capital Corporation.

Rodd R. Miller was appointed to the Board of Directors of Miller Capital Corporation to serve as Vice Chairman from his prior position as Executive Vice President of Miller Capital Corporation and with Christian M. Wolford, President and Chief Executive Officer of Miller Capital Markets, LLC, will serve on the newly formed Senior Executive Committee to be chaired by Rudy R. Miller.

Scott L. Perkins will serve as Vice President Finance for Miller Capital Markets and Miller Capital Corporation bringing added expertise in M&A transactions to the firm. Prior to joining The Miller Group, Mr. Perkins was associated with Dinan & Company, a firm that exclusively provided acquisition services for financial and strategic buyers. Mr. Perkins previously held management and marketing positions for Wells Fargo and was in the Business Development department of JP Morgan Chase. He has been active in the Association for Corporate Growth and the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Perkins received his BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Arizona State University.
